Okay this is going to be short and sweet because its 3:49 am in the morning. I don't mind being awake because I just got a call from beautifully, wonderful, splendid friend in Chicago whom I will answer the phone for, with pleasure, any time. As a good friend, supporter and literary cohort she got me to thinking about writing when I got off the phone. So, I opened up the trusty laptop and looked over my new baby i.e. The Official Blah Blah Blog. As I did so I thought to myself, "this blog is pretty cool. it talks about alot of stuff. and I get to talk about anything I like." Then it hit me.
There was something that had been bothering me for a long time even moreso than men who wear ascots. This particular itemized reality is so small and so insignificant but so thoroughly pervasive that it is extrememly irritating. The problem is that almost every single soup of every single brand has MSG, monosodium glutamate in it. I don't care if its Chunky, Progresso or Campbell's, Cream of Chicken, Beefstew or Clam Chowder. Every gotdamn can has f$#%n MSG in it. I hate that, what the F$%#k is up. I am going to go into it more. In fact, i am going to research msg and call all these soup companies. Then I am going to write about it. In the meanwhile, if any of you awesome readers find a soup that doesn't have msg in it please let me know. I am not sure but I think even Dinty Moore may have sold out.
It is a sad day in America. The only soup I can tolerate is Talk
Soup which is a gr8 show. Other than that I am in mourning.

That's why I prefer vegetables from my local farmers market and have taken to making my own soup, more herbs, much less salt! (that's the other hidden nightmare) and plenty of favor. Making a chicken stock is a piece of cake and a good base to most any soup. Time to start experimenting in the kitchen!
blahblahblah...good advice. I saved some chicken stock and some beef stock. I mixed them together and poured it over some noodles. Then I sprinkled some flour in their and turned it into gravy. I basically had a cream of Chicken/Beef and Noodles. Thanks Mom. LOL!!
